TUI Travel owned LateRooms.com site has been turning red this week. They're not going bust as so many travel operators but they had to admit to a major communication mistake done by one employee of the affiliate programme. The employee meant to send an email to several affiliates but instead of keeping the email addresses of those on the list invisible (BCC), a number of affiliates private details were displayed in the CC field of the email, including the email details of an escort agency website known as SaucyLondon. This mistake will be causing a lot of issues for LateRooms as affiliate, and rightly so, want to keep their details private to avoid spam and other issues. The London based escort agency which "aims to introduce some of the naughtiest ladies to the very naughty gentleman of London" is part of the list. Officials at LateRooms.com commented that SaucyLondon should not have been registered as an affiliate with LateRooms or TUI but however they want to present this, it must be good business for them!
